The Jade House

The Jade House is a prefabricated unit constructed at the fabrication facilities at San Jose City College, UC Santa Cruz, Cabrillo College, Hartnell College, and Rancho Cielo Construction Academy. The Jade House is designed for quick, off grid installation utilizing SIP panels, and it does not require a permanent foundation or level surface. It is transported on a standard trailer frame. Sustainable features include net-zero energy solar, rain water storage, grey water filtration, and optional composting toilet.
